§ 156.005 INTERPRETATION.
   The provisions of this chapter shall be interpreted to be the minimum requirements for the promotion and effectuation of the purposes set forth. Nothing herein shall repel, abrogate, annul or in any way interfere with any provision of law or any rules or regulations other than subdivision regulations adopted or issued pursuant to laws relating to subdivisions or development of land. Where this chapter imposes more restrictive requirements than one imposed or required by provisions of laws, rules, regulations, covenants or agreements, the provisions of this chapter shall control, but nothing herein shall interfere with, abrogate, or annul any easements, covenants, deed restrictions, or agreements between parties which impose more restrictive requirements than those imposed by this chapter.
