(A) It shall be the duty of the Director of Planning and Zoning to enforce these regulations and to bring to the attention of the City Administrator and Public Works Director any violations or lack of compliance herewith.
(B) All building construction shall be inspected by the city staff under the direction of the Director of Planning and Zoning and all public infrastructure shall be inspected by city staff under the Public Works Director to ensure conformity with this chapter and all other applicable rules and regulations. If, in the course of the city staff inspection, the city staff finds non-compliance with these or other rules and regulations, the Director of Planning and Zoning and/or Public Works Director shall have authorization to issue a cease and desist order and suspend the building permit and/or certificate of occupancy.
(C) If the regulations made under this chapter impose other higher standards than are required in any other statute or local ordinance or regulations, the regulations made under this chapter govern.
