§ 130.01 PUBLIC OFFENSES ADOPTED BY REFERENCE FROM IOWA CODE.
   The following simple misdemeanor offenses as defined in the Code of Iowa are hereby adopted by reference to their Code of Iowa chapter and section numbers, the same as if fully set out herein. Violations thereof when committed within the city shall constitute offenses against the city and shall be punishable by a fine of at least $105 but not to exceed $855. Such offenses shall be identified in all charging and court documents with the section number of this section followed by a decimal point and the relevant Code of Iowa section number, to wit:
   (A)   Consumption in public places - intoxication - right to chemical test on arrest - exoneration, as defined in Iowa Code § 123.46;
   (B)   Persons under legal age - penalty, as defined in Iowa Code § 123.47. Unless the parent or guardian of the underage person is personally present, such parental or guardian knowledge of and consent to possession and control of liquor, wine or beer shall be manifested in writing in the possession of the underage person at the time of such possession or control of liquor, wine or beer. Such writing shall specify the date upon which such consent is effective, the specific location by street number, if other than parent’s or guardian’s residence, to which such consent extends, and such writing shall bear the original signature of the underage person’s parent or guardian;
   (C)   Miscellaneous prohibitions, as defined in Iowa Code § 123.49;
   (D)   Advertisements for alcoholic liquor, wine or beer, as defined in Iowa Code § 123.51;
   (E)   Prohibited sale, as defined in Iowa Code § 123.52;
   (F)   Simple misdemeanor assault, as defined in Iowa Code §§ 708.1 and 708.2;
   (G)   Harassment in the third degree, as defined in Iowa Code § 708.7;
   (H)   Simple misdemeanor stalking, as defined in Iowa Code § 708.11;
   (I)   Theft in the fifth degree, as defined in Iowa Code §§ 714.1, 714.2, 714.3, 714.4 and 714.5;
   (J)   Fraudulent practices in the fifth degree, as defined in Iowa Code §§ 714.8, 714.13, 714.14 and 714.15;
   (K)   Criminal mischief in the fifth degree, as defined in Iowa Code §§ 716.1, 716.2 and 716.6;
   (L)   Simple misdemeanor trespass, as defined in Iowa Code §§ 716.7 and 716.8;
   (M)   Simple misdemeanor animal neglect, as defined in Iowa Code § 717B.3;
   (N)   Simple misdemeanor abandonment of cats and dogs, as defined in Iowa Code § 717B.8;
   (O)   Harassment of public officers and employees, as defined in Iowa Code § 718.4;
   (P)   False reports to law enforcement authorities, as defined in Iowa Code § 718.6;
   (Q)   Simple misdemeanor interference with official acts, as defined in Iowa Code § 719.1;
   (R)   Refusing to assist officer, as defined in Iowa Code § 719.2;
   (S)   False representation of records or process, as defined in Iowa Code § 720.5;
   (T)   Unlawful assembly, as defined in Iowa Code § 723.2;
   (U)   Failure to disperse, as defined in Iowa Code § 723.3;
   (V)   Disorderly conduct, as defined in Iowa Code § 723.4;
   (W)   Distributing dangerous substances, as defined in Iowa Code § 727.1;
   (X)   Abandoned or unattended refrigerators, as defined in Iowa Code § 727.3; and
   (Y)   Obstruction of emergency communications, as defined in Iowa Code § 727.5.
