(A) The City Administrator or his or her designee shall appoint a Parks Operations Superintendent who shall operate the cemetery in accordance with the rules and regulations therefor and under the direction of the City Administrator or his or her designee.

(B) The duties of the Parks Operations Superintendent shall be as follows.
(1) Supervise openings. The Parks Operations Superintendent, or the Parks Operations Superintendent’s designee, shall supervise the opening of all graves and be present at every interment in the cemetery.
(2) Maintenance. The Parks Operations Superintendent shall be responsible for the maintenance of the cemetery buildings, grounds and equipment.
