§ 72.14 SNOW REMOVAL.
   (A)   No person shall park, abandon or leave unattended any vehicle on any public street or alley when snow plowing operations have been declared (except as set forth in division (B) below). Such declaration shall be made by the Public Works Operations Superintendent or designee by telephonic means identifying snow operations are in effect. Snow plowing operations remain in effect until the Public Works Operations Superintendent or designee has declared them to be over. At all other times, street parking is permissible.
   (B)   No person shall park, abandon or leave unattended any vehicle on any public street, or alley in the downtown snow removal district between the hours of 12:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m when downtown snow hauling operations are in effect. Such declaration shall be made by the Public Works Operations Superintendent or designee by telephonic means identifying downtown snow hauling operations are in effect. Said declaration is to be made no later than 7:00 p.m. the night of snow hauling operations. Snow hauling operations remain in effect until the Public Works Operations Superintendent or designee has declared them to be over. At all other times street parking is permissible.
   (C)   For the purpose of this section, the DOWNTOWN SNOW REMOVAL DISTRICT is defined as the area encompassing W 4th to E 4th Street, from N 4th Avenue to S 2nd Avenue and including the 400 block of S 2nd Avenue W, 200 block of W 2nd Street S and 200 block of 1st Street S.
