(A) Mayor Pro Tem. The Mayor shall appoint a Mayor Pro Tem.
(B) Mayor subject to Council approval.
(1) For those appointments the Mayor makes subject to Council approval, the Mayor shall submit a proposed appointee’s name to the Council for the Council’s consideration to confirm or deny the Mayor’s appointment.
(2) Fifteen days before the term of an appointee expires, the Mayor shall notify Council of the upcoming expiration.
(3) Should a vacancy occur prior to the expiration of a term, the Mayor shall provide Council with at least six days’ notice prior to submitting a proposed appointee’s name to fill the vacancy.
(C) By Council.
(1) For the appointments the Council makes to the Board of Appeals, Planning and Zoning Commission and the Zoning Board of Adjustment, Council members may submit names of proposed appointees to the Mayor for the Mayor’s consideration.
(2) The Mayor shall submit a proposed appointee’s name to the Council for the Council’s consideration for appointment.
(3) Fifteen days before the term of an appointee expires, the Mayor shall notify Council of the upcoming expiration.
(4) Should a vacancy occur prior to the expiration of a term, the Mayor shall provide Council with at least six days’ notice prior to submitting a proposed appointee’s name to fill the vacancy.
