§ 70.52 TRAFFIC-CONTROL DEVICE INSTALLATION; STANDARDS; COMPLIANCE.
   (A)   The City Administrator shall cause to be placed and maintained traffic-control devices when and as required under the traffic code of the city to make effective its provisions; emergency or temporary traffic-control devices for the duration of an emergency or temporary condition as traffic conditions may require to regulate traffic under the traffic code of the city or under state law, or to guide or warn traffic. The City Administrator shall keep a record of all such traffic-control devices.

   (B)   Traffic-control devices shall comply with standards established by The Manual of Uniform Traffic-Control Devices for Streets and Highways.

   (C)   No driver of a vehicle shall disobey the instructions of any official traffic-control device placed in accordance with the provisions of this chapter, unless at the time otherwise directed by a peace officer, subject to the provisions granted the driver of an authorized emergency vehicle.
