Any person engaging in peddling, soliciting, in the business of a transient merchant, or in the sale of food or beverage to the public from a temporary or mobile facility in the city without first obtaining a license as herein provided shall be in violation of this chapter. All such activity shall comply with all other local, county, state, or federal regulations, permits, and requirements. Although certain activities may be exempt from the licensing requirements of this chapter, any activity including food service to the public is expected to comply with all other local, county, and state requirements for health inspections, licensing, safety and Fire Code requirements.
