(A) Exterior walls and exterior building elements shall be free from holes, breaks, and loose or rotting materials; and maintained weatherproof and properly surface coated where required to prevent deterioration.
(B) Siding and masonry joints including joints between the building envelope and the perimeter of windows, doors and skylights shall be maintained, weatherproof, and watertight. Deteriorating mortar joints in brick or stone walls shall be tuck-pointed or repointed, while deteriorating siding shall be repaired or replaced.
(C) Every window, skylight, door and frame shall be kept in sound condition, without broken glass, holes, cracks, or the like.
(1) Temporary boarding shall be used to prevent entry by unauthorized persons and shall be painted to correspond to the color of the existing structure until permanent repair and replacement occurs.
(2) Boarding sheet material shall be a minimum of one-half-inch thick wood structural panels, cut to fit the door or window opening neatly or shall be cut to provide an equal overlap at the perimeter of the door or window.
(3) Boarding sheet material used to temporarily cover broken windows, skylights, doors or frames shall be permitted for a maximum of 180 days from the date of written notice.
(4) Any boarding sheet material showing signs of deterioration shall be replaced within seven days of written notice.
(D) The exterior of a structure shall be maintained in good repair, structurally sound, and without signs of deterioration so as not to pose a threat to the public health, safety, or welfare.
(E) The property shall be free from an accumulation of garbage, junk, rubbish, debris, and the like.
