(A) Purpose. To provide an overview of how utilities services will be restored as a result of an emergency.
(B) Responsibilities. The following government agencies/private sector organizations are responsible for providing utilities services for the City of New Prague.
(1) Electrical Services-New Prague Utilities, Excel Energy, and MVEC.
(2) Gas Services-Reliant Energy.
(3) Telephone Service-Eckles Telephone.
(4) Potable water Service-New Prague Utilities.
(5) Sanitary sewer -City of New Prague.
(6) Sanitation – Laker’s Sanitary.
(C) Service restoration. In the event of a utility outage due to a disaster, the above offices/agencies should be called in order to restore services. (Contact numbers are in attachment #5). The Public Works Director will prioritize restoration of services based on the location of the event and their need to continue Emergency and or, life support services.
(D) Authentication.
