(A) Purpose. To describe how search and rescue will be accomplished in the city following a disaster.
(B) Responsibility. Within the City of New Prague, the primary responsibility for search and rescue belongs to the Fire Department. Back-up assistance for search and rescue may be available from mutual aid Fire Depts., the Police and Public Works Department; Scott County Emergency Management Office.
(C) Support agencies. The following government and volunteer organizations may be available to assist with major search and rescue operations: Police Reserve and Sheriff’s Offices and New Prague Ambulance.
(D) Support Standard Operating Guidelines (SOG). The above mentioned department/organizations will have SOG’s in place for their activities in support or the overall Search and Rescue Project.
(E) Authentication.
