The Utilities Commission was established by the city consistent with the City Charter to control and manage the city’s water system and electrical utility. The Utility Commission was re-established and affirmed by City Council Resolution #95-1-3-3 on January 3, 1995. This resolution was amended by City Council Resolution #99-2-1-1 on February 1, 1999. The Utility Commission consists of five members who are appointed for four-year terms of office as prescribed by the provisions in the resolutions.
