The city intends to use the information collected on the registration forms to analyze the location and distribution of rental housing within the city, to analyze the current status as well as the trends in the conversion of owner-occupied housing to and from non-owner occupied, to quantify the amount of rental housing available in the city, and to track the needs and availability of rental housing as the population increases.
