§ 116.09 REPORT OF STOLEN OR LOST GOODS.
   If any goods, articles or things shall be advertised in any public newspaper in general circulation in the city as having been lost or stolen, and the goods, articles or things shall then be or shall thereafter come into the possession of any licensee under the terms hereof, the licensee shall, upon actual notice of the fact, immediately thereafter, as a supplement to the licensee’s daily report for that day to the Chief of Police, give information in writing that the goods, articles or things advertised are in the licensee’s possession and the licencee shall not thereafter dispose of the same except upon written authority to do so from the Chief of Police.
