(A) (1) No permit shall be issued under the provisions of this subchapter until a deposit of money or bond is made with the City in an amount as may be deemed by the City to be sufficient to cover the cost of restoring the street surface or pavement.
(2) This cost shall be determined according to the rules to be prescribed by the City and shall be estimated at a certain price per square yard for each kind of street pavement.
(B) In case the applicant desires to open more street area than originally applied for, an additional deposit sufficient to cover cost of restoring the additional areas shall be paid to the City.
