The Commission shall consist of 3 members, who shall be resident legal registered voters in the City, appointed by the Mayor, subject to the approval of the Board of Commissioners. If any member during the term of his or her office becomes a candidate for, or is elected or appointed to any public office, he or she shall automatically vacate his or her appointment to the Commission.
