§ 31.26 OATH OF OFFICE.
   The City Clerk before entering upon the discharge of their duties, shall take an oath before the Mayor to faithfully discharge the duties of their office. The oath shall be subscribed by the person taking it, and filed in the Office of the City Clerk.
