§ 31.13 ACTING CITY MANAGER.
   (A)   The Assistant City Manager shall serve as Acting City Manager during the City Manager’s absence from the City or the City Manager may, by his or her Order, designate any other City employee to serve as Acting City Manager in his or her absence and shall notify the Board of Commissioners of such Order.
   (B)   The Acting City Manager or other designated City employee shall be possessed with all the duties and powers as conferred upon the City Manager. There shall be no additional compensation while performing as the Acting City Manager, unless specifically approved by the Board of Commissioners.
