3-3-9: MONTHLY STATEMENT; NONPAYMENT:
   (A)   Monthly statements for water used shall be dated and sent out at such times as specified by the Mayor and Council. (Ord. 209, 6-7-1993)
   (B)   Bills for water, sewer and garbage shall be due and payable within ten (10) days of mailing. Any bill not paid by the twenty fifth of the month shall be delinquent. Any bill that becomes delinquent shall incur an automatic fifteen dollar ($15.00) delinquency charge. In the event the past due amount and delinquency fee is not paid by the fifteenth day of the following month, the water service shall be terminated forthwith.
   (C)   If the water supply to any building, dwelling, residence, or any place where water supplied by the City is used, has been shut off because of nonpayment, the water supply shall not be restored until all amounts which are due and owing for previously provided water services together with any current charges have been paid and a reconnection fee of twenty five dollars ($25.00) has been paid to the City.    (D)   After any water supply has been disconnected for nonpayment, no person, except the City Public Works Superintendent or a person duly authorized by him, shall reconnect said water supply. Any person who reconnects any water supply after the same has been disconnected shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and punished by the laws of the State. Should any unauthorized person reconnect any water supply, in violation of this chapter, the City shall have the right to immediately and without notice remove the water meter to any building, structure or premises supplied thereby.
