Whenever the growth of weeds advances to a condition prohibited by this chapter, the municipality, or its designated official, shall notify such occupant or owner to remove same. In default of this being done, the municipality shall remove the same and the cost thereof shall become a lien upon the property. Said lien shall be collected as provided by law. (1960 Code)
