7-5-5: REQUIREMENT FOR BURNING:
   (A)   Burning hours shall be from eight o'clock (8:00) A.M. to five o'clock (5:00) P.M. during the months October through March and from eight o'clock (8:00) A.M. to eight o'clock (8:00) P.M. during the months April through September. (Ord. 195, 4-2-1990)
   (B)   Notification of the city clerk, fire department, city police or Payette County sheriff's office prior to burning is required and shall include the name and address of the person(s) responsible for the burning and the type of material to be burned. (Ord. 212, 10-18-1993)
   (C)   No person shall burn on or in any public street, alley, road or other public ground without prior approval from the fire chief or acting fire chief.
   (D)   All open burning shall be constantly attended by a competent person until such fire is extinguished. This person shall have a garden hose connected to the water supply or other fire extinguishing equipment readily available for use.
   (E)   The chief of the fire department or his designated assistant may prohibit any or all open burning when atmospheric conditions or local circumstances make such fires hazardous or offensive to occupants of the surrounding area. (Ord. 212, 10-18-1993)
