Every offense defined by this chapter or conduct made unlawful hereby shall also constitute an offense under the criminal code, and any person convicted of such an offense shall be punished by a fine not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00) or by imprisonment in jail not to exceed six (6) months, or both imprisonment and fine.
