1.05 COMMON OPEN SPACES.
A.   Where sites for parks, playgrounds, or other public uses are located within the subdivision, the Plan Commission may request their dedication for such purposes or their reservation for a period of one year following the date of the approval of the record plat. In the event a governmental agency concerned passes a resolution expressing its intent to acquire the land so reserved, the reservation period shall be extended for an additional six months.
B.   Common open spaces for recreational uses two acres or larger may be dedicated to and maintained by the Town of New Palestine. Common open spaces less than two acres in size shall be maintained by the owners association of the proposed subdivision.
