For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
AMUSEMENT ARCADE. Any place opened to the general public where an amusement device, as defined in this section, is made available for use by the public.
AMUSEMENT DEVICE. A machine or device which, on insertion of a coin, slug, card or payment of any form of compensation to an attendant or employee of the establishment containing the device, may be operated for use as a game, contest, or
amusement of any description, or which may be operated for any games, contest or amusements, whether the device is operated electrically, electronically, mechanically, or by physical effort or participation by the person making use of the device. This definition shall not include any amusement device which is a gambling device per se.
EXHIBITOR. Any person, whether or not the owner or lessee of the device, who contracts for or permits any amusement device, as defined above, to be installed, used or exhibited on premises under his possession, control or ownership.
