§ 57.03 DESIGNATION OF UNLAWFUL ACTS.
   The following acts, among others, are declared to be loud, disturbing and unnecessary noises and unlawful, but this enumeration shall not be deemed to be exclusive:
   (A)   The use of any horn or warning device on any vehicle for any other purpose than as a warning to the approach of the same while in traffic or as a danger signal to other traffic, vehicular and pedestrian.
   (B)   The playing of any radio, phonograph or any musical instrument in such a manner or with such volume, as to annoy or disturb the quiet, comfort or repose of persons in any dwelling, hotel or other type of residence.
   (C)   The use of any automobile, motorcycle, or other vehicle so out of repair, so loaded or in such manner as to create loud or unnecessary grating, grinding, rattling or other noise.
   (D)   The discharge into the open air of the exhaust of any steam engine, stationary internal combustion engine, motor vehicle or other engine, except through a muffler or other device which will effectively prevent loud or explosive noises therefrom.
   (E)   The use of any mechanical device operated by compressed air, unless the noise created thereby is effectively muffled and reduced.
   (F)   The creation of any excessive noise on any street adjacent to any school, institution of learning, or court while the same are in session, or adjacent to any convalescent care center or medical clinic, which unreasonably interferes with the workings of the institutions; provided conspicuous signs are displayed in the streets indicating that it is a school, hospital, court, convalescent care center or medical clinic street.
   (G)   Noise created by jake braking by any vehicle.
