(A) It shall be lawful for any person owning or having the control of any lot or lots within the corporation to plant and cultivate shade or ornamental trees in front of the lot or lots, provided that the trees when planted shall be at least 6 feet from the front line of the property.
(B) This section shall not affect the placement of shade or ornamental trees planted prior to the adoption of this section.
