The Mayor may appoint a magistrate to conduct Mayor’s court provided such magistrate satisfies the applicable requirements of the Revised Code and the Mayor’s Court Education and Procedure Rules. The magistrate appointed hereunder shall have full authority to preside over Mayor’s Court as provided by Section 1905.05 of the Revised Code and shall preside over the Mayor’s Court in the absence of the Mayor or when requested to by the Mayor or Council.
