171.02 MAYOR’S COURT VIOLATIONS BUREAU CLERK.
   (a)   The position of Violations Bureau Clerk of the Mayor’s Court is hereby established. This position shall be filled by appointment by the Mayor, with the consent of the Village Council.
   (b)   The Violations Bureau Clerk of the Mayor’s Court shall be responsible for the collecting of all fines and court costs from traffic citations in the Mayor’s Court during such times as the Clerk of the Mayor’s Court is not available. The Violations Bureau Clerk shall be responsible for maintaining records of all fines and court costs collected and for reporting the same to the Clerk of the Mayor’s Court and the Mayor of the Village for review.
   (c)   The Violations Bureau Clerk shall be bonded for the faithful performance of his or her duties in the amount of twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000). The premiums for such bond shall be paid by the Village.
   (d)   The Violations Bureau Clerk shall be compensated at such rate and with such benefits as Council may establish from time to time.
