143.08 SCHOOL PATROLMEN.
   (a)   The Sheriff's Department shall employ school patrolmen for duty at each of the school crossings.
 
   (b)   The working hours of school patrolmen shall be such as are set by the Sheriff.
 
   (c)   All appointments as school patrolmen shall be recommended by the Mayor and confirmed by the Sheriff.
