(a) There is hereby created the office of Building Inspector for the Municipality to enforce the provisions of the Zoning Code and the Building Code.
(b) The Building Inspector shall be nominated by the Mayor and appointed by Council for a period of one year and shall serve until his successor is nominated and appointed.
(c) Any reference in the Codified Ordinances to the "Building Inspector," "Zoning Inspector," or the "Zoning Enforcement Officer" or under Chapter 1329 to the "Enforcement Officer" shall mean the Building Inspector established under Chapter 1321 of the Codified Ordinances.
