(a) The Village Fiscal Officer shall have those powers, duties and functions as provided by the general laws of the State of Ohio for the village fiscal officer and in addition such Village Fiscal Officer shall have those powers, duties and functions as provided by the general laws of the State of Ohio for the Village Clerk-Treasurer. All ordinances and laws pertaining to the Clerk- Treasurer shall be construed to apply to the Village Fiscal Officer.
(b) The Village Fiscal Officer shall maintain, with the assistance of the Village Administrator, the Chief of Police, and the Village Fire Chief, an accurate inventory of all Village equipment, parts, tools, and supplies.
(c) The Village Fiscal Officer, with the assistance of the Village Administrator, shall maintain up-to-date employee records for sick leave and accrued vacation time and provide a written update of each employee's amounts quarterly with an insert in their pay envelope.
(d) The Village Fiscal Officer shall attend all regular and special meetings of Council. In cases where the Village Fiscal Officer will be unable to attend a Council meeting, the Village Fiscal Officer shall notify the Mayor in advance and make arrangements to have the bills, payroll, and other necessary documents present for the meeting.
(e) The Village Fiscal Officer shall carry out other such duties or actions as may be required by the Mayor or by Council through formal motions, resolutions, or ordinances.
