The purpose of the Public Parks and Open Space Zoning District is to protect, preserve and enhance significant open space lands, the Village’s recreational facilities, cemetery and public water reservoir, and other park spaces which are made available to the public, and to promote recreational uses, camp grounds and essential public facilities that are compatible with these natural assets and amenities.
