(a) Graffiti displayed upon any structure located within the City limits shall be the owner’s responsibility to remove within forty-eight hours of its discovery.
(b) Notice shall be given to the property owner indicating the date and time notice was served.
(c) Each day thereafter any property owner who fails to remove such graffiti shall be guilty of a minor misdemeanor for each day.
(d) The owner shall provide the Police Department an estimate of cost in cases of vandalism so that court-ordered restitution could be made in case of prosecution of those responsible. (Ord. 99-17. Passed 12-6-99.)
