Pursuant to I.C. 36-7-14-3, the Council hereby establishes the city’s Department of Redevelopment (the “Department”), for the purposes and to exercise the powers set forth in the Act or otherwise granted by law. The Department will be controlled by a board of five members to be known as the city’s Redevelopment Commission (the “Redevelopment Commission”), two of whom shall be appointed by the Council and three of whom shall be appointed by the Mayor of the city.
