Upon those streets and parts of streets and in those alleys described on a list maintained on file in the office of the city’s Clerk-Treasurer, vehicular traffic shall move only in one direction and movement in the opposite direction is prohibited; provided that, signs indicating the direction in which the traffic is allowed to proceed must be maintained at every intersection where a one-way street has been designated.
