3-5-4: WAIVER OF CERTAIN FEES AND CHARGES FOR RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION:
   A.   Waivers Established:
      1.   Building, electrical, plumbing and mechanical permit fees and water and sewer tap charges will be waived on any single- family home constructed within the corporate limits with a value between forty thousand dollars ($40,000.00) and seventy thousand dollars ($70,000.00). (Ord. 2001-08, 12-3-2001)
      2.   One-half (1/2) of the building, electrical, plumbing and mechanical permit fees and water and sewer tap charges will be waived on any single-family home constructed within the corporate limits with a value between seventy thousand one dollars ($70,001.00) and ninety nine thousand nine hundred ninety nine dollars ($99,999.00).       3.   Building, electrical, plumbing and mechanical permit fees and water and sewer tap charges will be waived on any state or federally assisted/funded single- or multi-family home constructed within the corporate limits that are leased or rented to families that meet state or federal income limits as set for the county.    B.   Submission Of Information Required: In order to qualify for the waivers set out in subsection A of this section, the property owner, builder or developer must submit the following to the city:
      1.   One set of housing plans, drawings, etc. (These may be returned upon completion.)
      2.   Name, address and telephone number of property owner, builder or developer.
      3.   Legal description and street address of the proposed development site.
      4.   Commitment by the property owner, builder or developer to abide by all housing and other appropriate codes of the city.
   C.   Interpretation: Nothing in this section is to be construed as waiving the requirement to obtain all needed building related permits or inspections. (Ord. 2001-08, 12-3-2001)
