7-9-6: VIOLATIONS PROHIBITED; PENALTY:

No person shall do any act forbidden or fail to perform any act required in this title. Any person who violates any provision of this title, or performs any unlawful act as defined in this title, or fails to perform any act required in this title is guilty of an offense and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punishable as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code. (1997 Code § 15-2001)
