A. It is unlawful for any person to authorize or knowingly permit a motor vehicle owned by him, or under his control, to be driven upon any street in the city by any person who is not authorized to drive a motor vehicle under the laws of the state, or to be driven or to stand or to be parked in violation of any provision of this title. B. No person shall authorize or knowingly permit any vehicle registered in his name to be driven, or to stand, or to be parked in violation of any provision of this title. (1997 Code § 15-2001)
C. It is unlawful for a parent of a child or the guardian of a ward to authorize or knowingly permit any such child or ward to violate any provision of this title. (1997 Code §§ 15-105, 15-2001)
