7-9-1: ADMINISTRATION AND ENFORCEMENT OF PROVISIONS:
   A.   All traffic in the city shall be controlled by the ordinances of the city and the laws of the state relating thereto. (1997 Code § 15-1802)
   B.   It is the duty of all city police officers to enforce the traffic regulations of the city and the state, to make arrests for traffic violations, and to investigate accidents. (1997 Code § 15-1801)
