(a) No person shall fail to remove immediately any excrement deposited by any dog or other animal under their control on public or private property.
(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor and subject to a fine of:
(1) Twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for the first offense, within a period of a year.
(2) Seventy-five dollars ($75.00) for the second offense, within a period of a year.
(3) A fine as stipulated in Section 501.99 Penalties for Misdemeanors of the New Concord Code of Ordinances for the third offense and per offense thereafter within a period of a year.
(c) The provisions of this section shall be enforced by the Police Department of the Village of New Concord. (Ord. 2021-39. Passed 12-13-21.)
