§ 153.079 MONUMENTS AND MARKERS.
   (A)   The developer of any subdivision shall install, within that subdivision, permanent reference monuments and markers placed flush with the ground in accordance with the provisions of this section.
   (B)   All monuments and markers shall be properly set by a land surveyor registered in the state in accordance with the state’s Administrative Code § 245:15-13, “Oklahoma Minimum Standards for the Practice of Land Surveying”, prior to the time the Planning Commission recommends approval of the final plat.
   (C)   Existing monuments or markers shall not be disturbed, unless absolutely necessary, in which case the monuments or markers shall be replaced at the exact spot from which they were removed.
   (D)   Along with all boundary and corner markers, at least one permanent benchmark referenced to the U.S. Geological Survey Datum (mean sea level) shall be established within each subdivision.
   (E)   The location of all monuments and markers shall be included on the preliminary plat, final plat and improvement plans.
