(A) The International Energy Conservation Code (EICC), as amended by the Oklahoma Uniform Building Code Commission, 2015 Edition, is adopted in its entirety by the city for the purpose of establishing the rules and regulations governing the activities regulated thereby.
(B) A certain document, three copies of which are on file in the office of the City Clerk, being marked and designated as the National Electric Code (NEC), 2014 Edition, as amended by the Oklahoma Uniform Building Code Commission, as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the code of the city for regulating and governing the design, construction, quality of materials, erection, installation, alteration, repair, location, relocation, replacement, addition to, use or maintenance of electric systems, as herein provided; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefor; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said code on file in the office of the City Clerk, are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof, as if fully set out herein.
(C) A certain document, three copies of which are on file in the office of the City Clerk, being marked and designated as the International Residential Code (IRC), 2015 Edition, as amended by the Oklahoma Uniform Building Code Commission as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the Minimum Residential Code of the city, for regulating and governing the construction, alteration, movement, enlargement, replacement, repair, equipment, location, removal and demolition of detached one- and two-family dwellings and multiple single-family dwellings (townhouses) not more than three stories in height with separate means of egress as provided herein; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefore; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Residential Code on file in the office of the City Clerk, are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof; as if fully set out herein.
(D) A certain document, three copies of which are on file in the office of the City Clerk, being marked and designated as the International Building Code (IBC), 2015 Edition, as amended by the Oklahoma Uniform Building Code Commission as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the Building Code of the city, for regulating and governing the conditions and maintenance of all property, buildings and structures; by providing the standards for supplied utilities and facilities and other physical things and conditions essential to ensure that structures are safe, sanitary and fit for occupation and use; and the condemnation of buildings and structures unfit for human occupancy and use and the demolition of such structures as herein provided; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefore; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Building Code on file in the office of the City Clerk are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out herein.
(E) A certain document, three copies of which are on file in the office of the City Clerk, being marked and designated as the International Fire Code (IFC), 2015 Edition with Appendix “D”, as amended by the Oklahoma Uniform Building Code Commission, as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the Fire Code of the city, for regulating and governing the safeguarding of life and property from fire and explosion hazards arising from the storage, handling and use of hazardous substances, materials and devices, and from conditions hazardous to life or property in the occupancy of buildings and premises as herein provided; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefore; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Fire Code on file in the office of the City Clerk are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out herein.
(F) A certain document, three copies of which are on file in the office of the City Clerk, being marked and designated as the International Plumbing Code (IPC), 2015 Edition, as amended by the Oklahoma Building Code Commission as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the Plumbing Code of the city, for regulating and governing the design, construction, quality of materials, erection, installation, alteration, repair, location, relocation, replacement, addition to, use or maintenance of plumbing systems as herein provided; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefore; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Plumbing Code on file in the office of the City Clerk, are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out herein.
(G) A certain document, three copies of which are on file in the office of the City Clerk, being marked and designated as the International Mechanical Code (IMC), 2015 Edition, as amended by the Oklahoma Uniform Building Code Commission as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the Mechanical Code of the city, for regulating and governing the design, construction, quality of materials, erection, installation, alteration, repair, location, relocation, replacement, addition to, use or maintenance of plumbing systems as herein provided; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefore; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Mechanical Code on file in the office of the City Clerk are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out herein.
(H) The International Property Maintenance Code (IPMC), 2015 Edition, as amended by the Oklahoma Uniform Building Code Commission, is adopted in its entirety by the city for the purpose of establishing the rules and regulations governing the activities regulated thereby.
(I) A certain document, three copies of which are on file in the office of the City Clerk, being marked and designated as the International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC), 2015 Edition, as amended by the Oklahoma Uniform Building Code Commission as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the Fuel Gas Code of the city, for regulating and governing fuel gas systems and gas-fired appliances as herein provided; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefore; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Fuel Gas Code on file in the office of the City Clerk are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out herein.
(J) A certain document, three copies of which are on file in the office of the City Clerk, being marked and designated as the International Existing Building Code (IEBC), 2015 Edition, as amended by the Oklahoma Uniform Building Code Commission as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the Existing Building Code of the city, for regulating and governing the repair, alteration, change of occupancy, addition and relocation of existing buildings, including historic buildings, in the city; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefore; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Existing Building Code on file in the office of the City Clerk, are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out herein.
(K) A certain document, three copies of which are on file in the office of the City Clerk, being marked and designated as the International Swimming Pool and Spa Code (ISPC), 2015 Edition, as amended by the Oklahoma Uniform Building Code Commission as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the code of the city, for conditions for construction and maintenance of all swimming pools and spas as herein provided; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefore; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said code on file in the office of the City Clerk, are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out herein.
(L) Any and all modifications, deletions and amendments, present or future, shall be adopted by reference as well.
