§ 134.10 HUNTING.
   (A)   Hunting small game with shotgun, bow or primitive firearms and the discharge of shotgun, bow or primitive firearms shall be allowed on agricultural land within the city; provided that, all hunting regulations established by the state’s Department of Wildlife Conservation are followed.
   (B)   Hunting shall be allowed for small game, except that deer may be hunted using shotgun, bow or primitive firearms, as provided for in the current state hunting regulations.
   (C)   Hunting shall be limited to the owner of the property being hunted and guests. When an owner is not present, the guest must have written permission from the property owner, in his or her possession, while hunting.
   (D)   There shall be no hunting or discharge of any firearm within 600 feet of an adjacent residence, commercial or industrial establishment.
   (E)   Shooting on, from or across any public street, road, highway or other public property is prohibited.
   (F)   Practice shooting, sighting-in or target shooting shall be limited to the owner of the property and guests, and further restricted to a location approved for safety by the Chief of Police.
   (G)   Hunting or the discharge of a firearm within any residential or commercial area of the city is prohibited.
