Road damage due to the number and size of oil field related vehicles is a certainty. Road routes will therefore be specified by the City Manager or his or her designee and shall be strictly adhered to. Weight limits and speed will also be set by the City Council and the same will be strictly adhered to with ultimate responsibility being the burden of operator. Failure to comply with designated routes by anyone associated with any well will result in the operator being responsible not only for any fines associated therewith but also for an additional assessment with the amount to be determined by the City Council upon hearing.
