Oil and gas operations, other than drilling and completion of wells, shall be conducted only between 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Truck deliveries of equipment and materials associated with drilling and/or completion, site preparation and work related to the drilling and completion of wells conducted on the well site shall not be limited to those hours. “Flowback” operations to recover fluids used during fracture stimulation shall be exempt from work hour restrictions, but are subject to compliance with noise restrictions contained in this chapter. All workover operations shall be restricted to daytime hours. The matters contained herein are subject to amendment by the city council or its designee on a well by well basis.
