§ 31.05 REMOVAL OF MEMBERS; VACANCIES.
   (A)   The Mayor or any Council member may be removed from office for any cause specified by, and by the methods prescribed and specified by, applicable state law for the removal of officers, including 22 O.S. §§ 1181 et seq., as amended.
   (B)   Whenever a member of the City Council is absent from more than one-half of all regular and special meetings of the City Council held within any period of four consecutive months, he or she shall thereupon automatically cease to hold office, unless the remaining members of the City Council vote to retain him or her on the City Council.
   (C)   Vacancies in the membership of the City Council shall be filled according to applicable provisions of state law.
