§ 90.06 CRUELTY PROHIBITED.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person knowingly, willfully or maliciously:
      (1)   Pour on or apply to an animal any drug or other thing which inflicts pain;
      (2)   Deposit any animal with the intention of abandoning the same;
      (3)   Treat an animal in a cruel or inhumane manner;
      (4)   Improperly use any collar, harness, leash and the like, which results in pain or damage to any animal;
      (5)   Neglect an animal belonging to him or her or in his or her custody in a cruel or inhumane manner;
      (6)   Deprive any animal of adequate shelter;
      (7)   Poison, or expose to poison, any dog or other animal, except a noxious, non-domesticated animal; or
      (8)   Kill or attempt to kill any animal in an inhumane manner.
   (B)   It shall be unlawful for any person to instigate or encourage a fight between animals, or to keep a house, pit or other place used for fights between animals.
