§ 39.06 CITY ATTORNEY.
   The City Attorney, or his or her duly designated assistant, shall be the prosecuting officer of the Municipal Court. He or she shall be authorized to prosecute all alleged violations of the ordinances of the city, and to prosecute and resist appeals and proceedings in error and review from the Court to any other courts of the state. He or she shall also be authorized to represent the city in all proceedings arising out of matters of the Court.
