(A) The Judge, other than an alternate or an acting, shall receive a monthly salary as set by resolution of City Council.
(B) (1) An Alternate or an Acting Judge shall be paid (monthly) an amount not to exceed the amount currently established for the Municipal Judge.
(2) Any amount paid to the Alternate or Acting Judge shall, at the discretion of the City Council, be deducted from the salary which would have been due to the Judge who failed or neglected to perform his or her duties as Judge.
