(A) The Local Emergency Management Planning Committee shall consist of the Mayor, who shall serve as Committee Chairperson, and five members appointed by the Mayor, with the approval of the City Council. The members shall serve at the pleasure of the City Council.
(B) The Local Emergency Management Planning Committee shall select from its members a Vice- Chairperson and a Secretary.
(C) The Local Emergency Management Planning Committee shall hold the meetings as are directed by the Mayor or the City Council.
(D) The function of the Local Emergency Management Planning Committee shall be to act in an advisory capacity to, and as needed or requested by, the Mayor or the City Council.
